War memorial in Derby, CT

I happen to be working in town this day and hadd my camera with me, had to take pics of a neon sign for work, I bend neon glass, on the way back I saw smoke, then fire trucks, I just had to run there and take pics of the fire, too bad I had a small card in the camera, so I was forced to delete the neon sign pics. (my boss wasn't too happy that those pics accidently got lost)

Photo taken with canon powershot G3, using available light, one of my favorite ways to capture the moment, although the G3 sometimes as a throws focusing tamtrums and gets me real worked up, but I still like it cause I can turn all noise off take the shot in different formats, and it's a work horse in general.
But anyway, pic was taken in Litchfield, CT, at a pizza joint called Bohemian pizza, awesome food, specially the goat pizza, record covers all over the walls, great people. Worth planing the detour to go there during a sunday day trip.
